These charts demonstrate the lack of accuracy of the climate models and the illogic of trusting them for century-long forecast. That the IPCC computer models cannot accurately predict Earth's past, known climate history, much less the future decades or centuries ahead, is no surprise in that the modelers did not allow for solar variations that are known to occur or for possible extraterrestrial influences that seem to correlate with climate changes better than the rise and fall of atmospheric CO2 levels. The IPCC modelers were instructed to ignore such possible effects. Yet these same models are being used to scare the public to death in order to get policies enacted just in case the science is wrong and CO2 might be having an as yet unknown effect on global warming. To take this "tilting at windmills" approach, especially because of all the known, solidly documented benefits of more, not less, atmospheric CO2, is senseless.
As more data came forth from empirical look-backs and truly global temperature measurement became available from satellites, many not most, of these people stood up and said the new data and a review of some of the old physics caused them to change their minds.
This includes many former or current IPCC scientists who are also disgusted with the political treatment of their scientific facts. For those who are hanging on and hoping the lightening will strike and someone will prove that CO2 is have a major effect, their numbers are dwindling with the new skeptics that are surfacing every week.
More is being learned about solar variations, ocean current history and additional empirical evidence which seem to clearly place the skeptical folks on the more solid ground. Underlying some of the man-made wavering support is the one-sided teaching that has permeated the lower, middle and high schools. Driven by "anything that man does is bad for the planet" . and we admit that many man-made impacts have been bad to a pristine planet while other things have improved a dirty, disease riddled past.
Doesn't it bother you that man-made warming proponents will not agree to public debates on something so important to our economy and how we spend limited research dollars?
Please demand the debates. Don't allow anyone to hide behind the "science is settled" myth.
